DSU-CNR & CASS WORKSHOP

This morning The Department of Social Science and Humanities at the Cultural Heritage National Research Council (DSU-CNR) and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) organized an international workshop in Rome, CNR – Aula Marconi.

The conference aimed to encourage collaboration among experts in social sciences and humanities worldwide. The delegates for CNR-IRCrES were the director Emanuela Reale and the researchers Lucio Morettini and Luca Tricarico. The workshop was graced by Prof. Salvatore Capasso, Director of DSU-CNR, and Prof. Gao Xiang, President of CASS, who inaugurated the event.

Conferenza AISRe – foto e premio miglior poster

Dal 6 all’8 settembre si è svolta la Conferenza AISRe 2023, organizzata dall’Associazione Italiana Scienze Regionali presso l’Università Parthenope di Napoli.

DSU-CNR & CASS WORKSHOP

The Department of Social Science and Humanities at the Cultural Heritage National Research Council (DSU-CNR) and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) are joining forces to organize an international workshop on Tuesday 19 September, 2023 (Rome, CNR – Aula Marconi).

The conference aims to encourage collaboration among experts in social sciences and humanities worldwide. It will be a gathering of well-known scholars and researchers from both institutions to share their ideas and research discoveries for a fruitful exchange of ideas and research findings. The delegates for CNR-IRCrES are the director Emanuela Reale and the researchers Lucio Morettini and Luca Tricarico. The workshop will be graced by Prof. Salvatore Capasso, Director of DSU-CNR, and Prof. Gao Xiang, President of CASS, who will inaugurate the event and include the participation of experts and researchers from both institutions.

Conferenza AISRe – i contributi CNR-IRCrES

Si apre oggi, a Napoli, presso l’Università degli Sudi di Napoli Parthenope, la conferenza annuale AISRe Europe and the Mediterranean between transitions and conflicts. Opportunities and risks for regions and territories, organizzata dall’Associazione Italiana di Scienze Regionali, un evento che riunisce esperti provenienti da diverse discipline. Dal 6 all’8 settembre la conferenza, si propone come sede di confronto teorico sui temi delle Scienze Regionali e per la presentazione dei risultati di ricerche condotte, nelle diverse aree applicative, secondo gli approcci disciplinari che concorrono a questo campo di studi: economia, geografia, sociologia, pianificazione urbana e regionale, demografia, statistica, sistemistica, matematica, e molte altre.

Eu-SPRI ECC 2024 Call for Papers is now open!

Join us for Eu-SPRI ECC conference in Rome, organized by CNR-IRCrES. Call for Papers is now open. The Eu-SPRI ECC conference showcases the profound impact of science, technology, and innovation policies on long-term sustainable development. With the participation of various disciplines, the conference analyses the complex relationships between STI policies and the societal challenges.

Researchers and experts from diverse fields, including sociology, economics, statistics, and political sciences, are called upon to contribute to Eu-SPRI 2024. The conference extends its reach to encompass those in Natural Sciences and related areas. The event also welcomes early career researchers and PhD candidates, aiming to elevate research policy and innovation studies. Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts (500-1000 words) of their original research papers. The submission should provide clear insights into the research question, methodology, results, and implication for STI policy and sustainability.

Dr Antonio Zinilli is the Chair of the Conference which will take place in Rome from 6th to 8th March 2024, offering an opportunity to share thoughts, discoveries, and to engage in a rich exchange of knowledge.

CNR-IRCrES contributions at ERSA 2023 Conference in Alicante

Researchers from CNR-IRCRES contributed with different works to the ERSA (European Regional Science Association) 2023 conference held in Alicante from 28th August to 1rd September. With 10 engaging presentations and four special sessions, the event illustrated the complexity of the research interest and expertise in which our institute of the National Research Council has been involved so far.
Among the highlights were 5 insightful presentations that covered a wide spectrum of regional science topics.
Additionally, four special sessions organized by CNR-IRCRES addressed specific areas of interest, providing a forum for in-depth discussions and collaboration with experts in this sector.
