Preannouncement ECC Eu-SPRI

The Eu-SPRI Early Career Researcher Conference (ECC) 2024 on the theme of “Sustainability in Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) policy: between complexity and uncertainty” will take place in Rome from 6th to 8th March 2024 and is organized by CNR-IRCrES – the Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth of the National Research Council of Italy.

The ECC Conference aims to explore the pivotal role of science, technology, and innovation policies in fostering long-term sustainable development and equitable growth. The conference will delve into the complexities and uncertainties surrounding STI policy and investigate potential connections between these policies and the achievement of long-term goals.

Contributions from various fields such as sociology, economics, statistics, political sciences, public policy, and innovation studies are welcome. Participation from researchers in Natural Sciences and other relevant domains are particularly appreciated, given the shared interest in the proposed theme.

The ECC Conference primarily aims to engage early career researchers and PhD students working in the areas of Research Policy and Innovation studies. The chair of the Conference is Dr Antonio Zinilli.

The selection process will be based on the submission of an extended abstract (400-600 words) and a CV, which should highlight the PhD dissertation topic and, for research assistants and post-doctoral researchers, their main research projects. Save the date and prepare to submit your papers starting from 4th September 2023. Visit the ECC website👉https://eccrome.ircres.cnr.it/
