Rota<\/a> (associata IRCrES) segnalano che, nella giornata odierna, marted\u00ec 17 gennaio 2023, fino a gioved\u00ec 19, si terr\u00e0 in Portogallo (University of Aveiro) l\u2019evento di lancio (KoW) del progetto Horizon Europe <strong>RESTORE4Cs <\/strong>(<em>Modelling RESTORation of wEtlands for Carbon pathways, Climate Change mitigation and adaptation, ecosystem services, and biodiversity, Co-benefits)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scopo del progetto, di cui CNR-IRCrES \u00e8 partner per la parte di indagine socio-economica (WP5), \u00e8 migliorare la comprensione dei benefici e dei trade-off che il ripristino delle zone umide genera sulla biodiversit\u00e0 e un vasto insieme di servizi ecosistemici, tra cui lo stoccaggio del carbonio, l&#8217;abbattimento delle emissioni di gas serra (GHG), l\u2019adattamento al cambiamento climatico, la regolazione delle inondazioni e la protezione contro l&#8217;erosione.
